About John of God
John of God is a true healer and server of humanity, dedicating his entire life--mind, body and spirit--to the divine for the spiritual healing of others. John of God born, Joao Teixera de Faria welcomes people from all religious and spiritual backgrounds and does not charge any fee for his healing work.
In order to fulfill his life mission of serving others, Joao established the healing sanctuary, the Casa de Dom Inacio in Abadiania, Brazil, in 1979. Affectionately referred to as ‘the Casa’, it is located in the rolling green hills of central Brazil where you will see flocks of wild parakeets, bountiful fruit trees and stunning sunsets. For three days each week, Joao works until he has seen every person, often late into the night if hundreds have arrived that day.
